South Africa Telugu Samithi (SATS) is a non-profit organization established to bring all Telugu Community members under one umbrella to protect our rich Telugu culture and heritage. Our primary vision is to provide Charitable, Community, Cultural, and Social services in South Africa, India, across globe where and when applicable.
SATS extends a warm welcome to all Telugu speaking Community by providing an open and inclusive platform where the focus will be on Telugu language and arts. We aim to do this by organizing community gatherings to bring the Telugu Community onto one platform to celebrate Telugu festivals and culture.
We strongly believe that together we are stronger; therefore our efforts will be focused on organizing events in various themes to help strengthen community bonds among Telugu Community in South Africa. We also intend to host educational/cultural forums to bring community closer together.
We aim to cater to all societal needs of the Telugu community in South Africa, hence the main focus point for us is to educate ourselves on problems faced by the Telugu community in South Africa and attempt to provide possible resolutions and support to all Telugu community collectively as well as other communities in South Africa.
Along with providing a platform for giving back to the community with various charitable events, SATS is also ready to assist and collaborate with individuals and organizations that may want to take up developmental activities for charity in India, Primarily in both the Telugu States.
